REMINDER: Ruben Gallego’s History of Ripping Off Seniors

Phoenix, AZ - Radical Ruben Gallego has a long and sordid history of ripping off seniors. 

From 2010 to 2012, Gallego was the Director of Public Affairs for Southwest Ambulance, a company that faced a federal investigation for committing medicare fraud in Arizona during and shortly after the time that Gallego worked for the company. Notably, Southwest Ambulance funneled hundreds-of-thousands of dollars into local elections to win contract extensions, and was forced to settle the medicare fraud investigation for $2.8 million. In 2022, Gallego voted for the Inflation “Reduction” Act which has “reduced the number of Medicare drug plans from which seniors can choose and increased the average premiums they pay.” Notably, “premiums for Part D plans are up 21%—and 5 million beneficiaries are enrolled in plans that raised their premiums by 50% or more this year.” (READ MORE: HERE)
