FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 11, 2024
Phoenix, AZ – Just one day after Ruben Gallego voted to allow illegal immigrants to vote in U.S. elections, the Washington Examiner and Washington Free Beacon report that earlier this week Ruben Gallego REFUSED to directly answer questions from his own donors about how to deal with the border crisis. Gallego claimed he only deals with immigration “once in a while” (when he does, he votes for open-borders: SEE HERE) and that it’s “not [his] expertise.” Furthermore, Gallego expressed discontent with the idea of being placed on a committee with jurisdiction over the crisis.
In stark contrast, Kari Lake recognizes that Arizona is a border state facing an unprecedented humanitarian crisis and knows that the #1 issue for Arizona voters is the border. That is why she will make it her top priority to deal with and solve the border crisis, and hopes to be put on a committee with jurisdiction. See Lake’s 10-point plan to secure the border: HERE
Kari Lake Released the Following Statement:
“Ruben Gallego just admitted that he has no plan to secure the border, and zero intention of being placed on a committee where he has the power to do so. Arizonans are tired of career politicians that don’t care about them, and they deserve a U.S. Senator that will immediately get to work to secure the border and return safe streets. I will do just that.”
